Hungary is a free market economy and has been since 1990. The economy is fast approaching European norms through the implementation of rigorous financial targets, applied by the government. Inflation is running at less than 10%. The general basic salary (at this present time) is HUF 62,000 per month, or 250 Euro per month. Its Parliament is a Democratic.

Hungary’s legal system is a rule of law based on Western models.

Some History
Napoleon wanted desperately to bring England to its knee’s at the beginning of the 19th century, he formed blockades all over Europe. Pepper was no where to be found.

Hungarian Peasants have always been considered to be clever people with being close to nature and loving organic produce.

So they came up with the idea of drying the Red Paprika (capsicum) grinding it to a powder. This is now symbolic of Hungarian cuisine.
